Matthew Picone, CFA

Matthew joined Acadian Asset Management (Australia) Limited in 2007. He is based in Sydney and serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager on the Global Portfolio Management Team. Matthew has been a key driver of the development and management of a range of equity strategies across region. Amongst broader portfolio management contributions, Matthew has significantly contributed to ESG research and implementation at Acadian for many years. He is a senior member of Acadian's Responsible Investing Committee, a member of the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia (RIAA) Policy and Advocacy Technical Expert Group, and has previously sat on the PRI Australian Advisory Committee and is. Prior to joining Acadian, Matthew worked as an investment analyst focusing on renewables within the Global Resources team at Colonial First State Global Asset Management. He has also held roles at CFS Firstchoice and Commonwealth Bank Institutional Banking (Natural Resources). Matthew is a CFA charterholder.
