John Chisholm, CFA
John joined Acadian in 1987 and assumed the Co-CEO role after serving as Acadian’s Chief Investment Officer where he oversaw Acadian’s investment process and Investment Team. He continues to actively manage Acadian portfolios and direct research to enhance our approach, as he has since 1987. Earlier in his career, John served as systems engineer at Draper Laboratories and as an analyst for the International Asset Management Department at the State Street Bank and Trust Company (now SSgA). He earned an M.S. in business/finance from MIT and a B.S. in engineering from MIT. John is a CFA charterholder and member of CFA Society Boston.
Ross joined Acadian in 2004 and in 2018 moved from the head of Acadian’s Global Client Group to the Co-CEO position. He is a member of Acadian’s Board of Managers, as well as the Acadian Executive and Operating Committees. He has oversight responsibility for our global operations through his role on the boards of Acadian Asset Management (Singapore) Pte Ltd, Acadian Asset Management (U.K.) Limited, Acadian Asset Management (Japan), and Acadian Asset Management (Australia) Ltd. Prior to joining Acadian, Ross served in various roles including portfolio management, investment strategy, business development, and client relationship management with Barclays Global Investors. He earned his M.B.A. at the University of Chicago and a B.A. at the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Malcolm Baker, Ph.D
Malcolm has been a research consultant with the firm since 2006 and plays a key role in formulating Acadian’s investment research agenda. He is the Robert G. Kirby Professor of Finance at Harvard Business School, and he is the author of articles published in the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, Quarterly Journal of Economics and other well-known academic journals. He has been awarded numerous prizes for his research, including the Brattle Prize for best corporate finance paper in the Journal of Finance; he is a program director at the National Bureau of Economic Research; and he has served as an editor of the Journal of Finance and the Review of Financial Studies. Malcolm holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University; a M.Phil. from Cambridge University; and a B.A. from Brown University.
Brendan Bradley, Ph.D.

Brendan joined Acadian in 2004 as a senior member of the Research and Portfolio Management Team. In 2010, Brendan was appointed director of Managed Volatility strategies and in 2013, became director of Portfolio Management, overseeing portfolio management policy. Brendan earned his BA in physics from Boston College and his Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Boston University.

Laurent joined Acadian in 2006 and leads Acadian's Client Solutions and Product Strategy Group. Laurent brings a strong industry background to bear, with previous roles at State Street Global Advisors and J.P. Morgan. He is a former professor of finance at the Cooremans Institute and Vlekho Business School in Brussels and served as a frequent lecturer on investments at the M.B.A. program at the Solvay Business School. Laurent earned an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management and holds a commercial engineering degree from the Solvay Business School (Universite Libre de Bruxelles).

Scott joined Acadian in 2004 and is responsible for maintaining and overseeing Acadian’s compliance program and legal matters. Previously, he was with LPL Financial Services, where he worked for over eight years in various roles including as vice president of compliance and associate counsel. Prior to LPL, he was a staff attorney with the Massachusetts Securities Division in the Investment Adviser section. Scott earned his B.S. at Babson College and his J.D. from the New England School of Law.

Mike has over 30 years of experience within financial services. He joined Acadian in 2006 and is responsible for managing human resources, globally. Previously, he was with Wellington Management Company for 4 years as a senior human resources manager. Prior to Wellington, he was a senior human resources relationship manager and held various leadership roles over 14 years with Zurich/Scudder Investments. Mike attended Fisher College and completed the HR Law Program at Cornell University.

Mark joined Acadian in 2000 and is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, human resources, compliance, operations, and liaising with parent company OMAM U.S. He is a member of the Acadian Board of Managers, Executive Committee, and Operating Committee. Previously, Mark worked for United Asset Management and Old Mutual in various financial and accounting roles. Mark holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.

Peter joined Acadian in 2014 and is the firm's chief technology officer. Prior to joining Acadian, Peter was a principal at Beacon Consulting Group, where he was responsible for providing strategic IT planning, data management, back and middle office process design, and outsourcing evaluation and conversion services to asset management clients. He also previously worked at Pioneer Investments, first as the CTO of the firm's U.S. operations, and more recently as the global CTO for Pioneer Global Asset Management. He worked in a number of technology roles prior to his work at Pioneer, including senior positions at MFS Investment Management and State Street Corp. Peter holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Rhode Island.

Ted joined Acadian in 2003 and is currently director of the Americas Client Group. Prior to joining Acadian, he worked as an investment banking analyst at Deutsche Bank, in corporate finance at General Electric and as a senior investment associate at Bridgewater Associates. Ted earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School (with Distinction) and a B.A. from Middlebury College (Phi Beta Kappa).
Kelly Young, CFA, CAIA
Senior Vice President, Director, International Client Group
Kelly joined Acadian Asset Management U.K. in 2009 and is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s client service and business development efforts outside of the U.S. Prior to joining Acadian, she was the European head of the index fund management business for SGAM Alternative Investments. Kelly has also worked for Northern Trust Global Investments and Barclays Global Investors in senior portfolio management positions. Kelly is a CFA charterholder and member of CFA U.K., holds the CAIA charter, and is a member of CAIA Association. Kelly graduated with honors from Brunel University.
