James Soper

Jim joined Acadian in 2019 and is Acadian's Chief Technology Officer, responsible for overseeing the information technology division. Prior to his current role, Jim served as the Director of Engineering at the firm, where he oversaw software engineering and architecture. Before joining Acadian, Jim was chief technology officer at Boston Private. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Fidelity Investments, Pioneer Investments, and MFS Investment Management. Jim holds a B.S. in computer science from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
